A passer-by beat a street musician for Russian language/Word and Deed
In the center of Ivano-Frankivsk there was a fight because of the performance of a song in Russian. The conflict between passers-by and musicians occurred on Sunday, May 22, but only now became public.
The published footage shows how a passerby first aggressively communicated with the girl, obscenely demanding not to sing in Russian.
In response, the girl said that she lives in a free country and can freely use any language. Two more guys-musicians intervene in their dispute, after a verbal skirmish, the man hit one of the guys and he fell on the paving stones from the blow.
Law enforcement officers commented on the incident
In a commentary to ZAXID.NET, the policemen of the Ivano-Frankivsk region said that the incident occurred over the weekend, the incident was reported to law enforcement by the doctors who were contacted by the victim. It turned out that the injured musician was a 37-year-old resident of Ivano-Frankivsk.
The message from the doctors was received at lunchtime on Sunday, May 22. The man, when communicating with law enforcement officers, said that there were no complaints against the attackers, he refused to write a statement. The materials are under consideration in the district police department, – the press service of the police noted.

The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv also reacted to the incident. He noted that he had already instructed the municipal inspectorate to be more attentive and “to control such things in the city center.” Martsinkiv also instructed to find out if there was a statement to the police and said that the attacker needed to find a lawyer.
Pay attention! Note that back in mid-March, Ruslan Martsinkiv himself urged the residents of Frankivsk not to react aggressively to the Russian language and not to breed enmity within the country.
