An anti-aircraft gun and missile system Pantsir-S1 was installed on the territory of the residence of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Valdai.
The corresponding footage was shown from satellite.
The shell is located in the forest on Ryabinovy Island, 3.7 km directly from the house, where the Kremlin leader has been visiting in the summer since 2000.

According to history of satellite images, this air defense position near Putin's Valdai residence was built in March 2024.
It was during this period that Russian media wrote that the attacks by Ukrainian drones on St. Petersburg were connected with the transfer of air defense systems to “protect a strategically important facility in Valdai”.
The journalists also added that it was the Pantsir air defense system that was installed in the Moscow region after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the main region of the aggressor state.

Pantsir-S1 is a Russian self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system. It is used to cover civilian and military targets from air attack. Can also protect an object from ground and surface threats.
The machine was developed by the Tula Instrument Design Bureau. The complex was created in 1994, since then it has been modernized. At the end of 2012, the Pantsir-S1 air defense system was adopted by the Russian Army.
The deployment time of the complex is up to 5 minutes. Pantsir-S1 ammunition: 12 57E6-E missiles, 1400 shells. The missiles can hit targets at an altitude of up to 15 km and at a distance of up to 20 km; projectiles can travel up to 4 km.
