A monument to Pushkin was dismantled in Kyiv

In Kyiv on November 15, a monument to the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was dismantled.

Photos and videos of the dismantling of the monument were shared on Facebook by a deputy of the Kyiv City Council. Ksenia Semenova.

The monument to Pushkin is located on Beresteysky Avenue in the Kiev park named after Ivan Bagryany (formerly Pushkin park).

Let us remind you that back in May The Rada adopted a law according to which monuments that are symbols of Russian imperial and Soviet totalitarian policies will no longer be included in the State Register of Cultural Heritage Objects.

On November 10, the Cabinet of Ministers removed the Kiev monument to Pushkin from the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Cultural Heritage of National Significance.
