A month has passed since the Ukrainian defenders drove the Russian occupiers from the North of the country. The Armed Forces of Ukraine completely defeated the Kremlin's plans to seize Kyiv.
The remnants of the occupation troops shamefully disappeared from the Kyiv, Sumy and Chernihiv regions. To hide their crushing defeat, the Russian Ministry of Defense declared that they never had any plans to capture the Ukrainian capital. h2>
In the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine they said that it was on March 29 that Russian infidels began to flee from the North of Ukraine. In turn, the Russian Defense Ministry announced a “significant reduction in activity in the Kiev direction.”
This event marked one of the biggest victories of the Ukrainian military to date, completely destroying the Kremlin's plans for a war in Ukraine. And also revealed to the world the real face of the Russian army of marauders and rapists, – the defenders noted.
The operation to defend Kyiv and the Kyiv region was commanded by Colonel General and Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.

Ukrainian defenders continue to destroy the invaders along with their equipment- Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, infidels have suffered crushing losses. As of April 29, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated at least 23 thousand invaders. In addition, Ukrainian fighters destroyed thousands of enemy vehicles.
- On April 28 alone, the defenders managed to liquidate about 200 Russian soldiers. They also destroyed 16 enemy tanks, 29 armored vehicles, 4 artillery systems, 1 air defense system, 2 aircraft, 7 vehicles and 14 drones.
- The Marines also continue to eliminate enemies by all means. They released a video showing how the defenders on April 29 meticulously destroyed two combat vehicles of the invaders.
