Modular town for IDPs near Lviv/Collage of 24 channels
On June 14, the first quarter of a modular town for internally displaced persons was opened near Lviv. It has 10 compact houses, equipped with everything necessary and ready for use.
We built residential structures in record time – in 1 month. In the future, it is planned to build another 100, 250 and 350 such houses.
What is known about the modular city near Lviv
The project of the first block of the modular city called Leo States was implemented in the village of Khorosno of the Solonkovsky community of Lviv region, 15 kilometers from the regional center. The first 10 houses are equipped with everything you need, in particular, kitchens and bathrooms. In addition, each of such a residential structure has:
- two bunk beds each with duvets, pillows and linens;
- crockery;
- wardrobes;
- food kit;
- electric stove, refrigerator, table and sink;
- toilet, washbasin, shower, boiler and washing machine;
- TV.
For joint use a playground and a special barbecue area are available on the territory of the city.

Head of Leo States Stanislav Lutskovich said that the construction of a modular town is financed exclusively by philanthropists. About 400 thousand euros have already been raised for the project. The first 10 houses were built with funds from the Baranova 27 Foundation, and the next quarters were financed by private foundations and commercial organizations from around the world.

About 50 volunteers worked on the first quarter of Leo States, working on the architectural plan, interior design, and engineering. The area of each house is 15 square meters. There are plots for the construction of the next 100, 250 and 350 houses. We can provide from 10 to 50 such houses for settlement every month,” Stanislav Lutskovich explained.
