As the journalist notes, the official Chisinau annually announces that it is set for a diplomatic settlement of the Transnistrian conflict. At the same time, he calls on Russia to withdraw its troops from the territory of Ukraine.
“Moreover, after the Russian army in Transnistria became a colleague of the aggressor army, Moldova continued to insist on this. But so far, things are not moving forward,” Tkhorik said.
Probably, both the Pridnestrovian and Russian armies are being prepared for the development of events in a non-peaceful way. However, this is an army, the journalist adds, professional soldiers must be combat-ready, as in any country in the world. “By the way, the army in Moldova is not very combat-ready, because there is not a single tank in the country,” he stressed.
