Another meeting in the “Ramstein” format will soon take place in Germany. The new Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, will go there. But the fact that the new head of the defense department will be at this meeting is good.
This is the opinion ofChannel 24expressed political scientist and sociologist from Germany Igor Eidman, noting that it is good when there is a rotation of personnel in Ukraine. By the way, the Ramstein meeting will take place the week of September 18.
“And the Minister of Defense changes, the President appoints new people. This all looks like a democratic country and makes a good impression on the world community,” Eidman said .
He is convinced that rotation of personnel in senior management positionswill have a positive impacton the attitude of Western countries towards Ukraine. After all, this happens in a democracy.
What cannot be said about Russia, where there are “irreplaceable people,” no matter how much they steal and no matter what they do. Since Vladimir Putin loves and trusts them, they will still be in power.
Connections are not a problem
Rustem Umerov, the political scientist is sure, will work new external relations with partners. After all, we are not talking about individuals here.
The point is the free world’s principled approach to the fact that Ukraine needs to be helped, and Ukraine must defeat this evil, the sociologist emphasized.
