A powerful explosion and strong flames at the site of the destruction of the large landing ship Novocherkassk in temporarily occupied Feodosia indicate the presence on board of at least 2,000 combat drones of the Shahed-136 type or about 10 thousand artillery shells.
This opinion was shared by military expert Pyotr Chernik on air at the national telethon.
— It burned very strongly, we understand that something that can burn burns like that. Therefore, I adhere to the version that there were attack drones on board. Because the shells usually have a rather thick metal casing, it is unlikely that they would be able to penetrate it so that everything would catch fire so powerfully,” explained the broadcast guest.

At the same time, the expert emphasized that if there were artillery shells on board Novocherkassk, then the nature of the fire indicates a cargo of at least 10 thousand units. This is approximately half the daily norm of the occupiers for fire attacks along the entire contact line.
Recall that President Zelensky, after a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters, reacted to the liquidation of an enemy ship in the port of Feodosia. He thanked the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for replenishing the Russian submarine Black Sea Fleet with another vessel.
