An oil depot is on fire in Cuba/Collage of Channel 24
In western Cuba, a lightning strike caused a massive fire in one of the oil storage tanks. One person died and 120 others were injured as a result of the fire.

The flame started in one tank, and then a strong wind spread the fire to another tank. Rescuers are trying to put out the fire and prevent the flames from spreading.
What is known about the victims
According to preliminary data, it is known about one dead, 121 injured and 17 missing. Among the victims – 5 in critical condition, 3 – in serious condition. More than 1,300 people were evacuated from the danger zone
By the way, Cuban Energy Minister Nicolas Arronte Cruz was injured during the fire. He was on the scene when the flames spread to the second oil tank, causing explosions.
