On the morning of February 24, the enemy fired border guards in Chernihiv region. As a result of the attack by the Russians, Senior Lieutenant of the State Border Service Viktor Derevyanko was seriously wounded – a fragment entered his heart.
He was taken for an operation to the Chernigov hospital, after which he was transported to Kyiv – it was necessary to remove a fragment from the heart.
When the doctors received my card, they asked in surprise how I survived . I said that you need to live more, you need to serve. We need to expel the Russian occupiers from Ukraine, and then build a house and raise a family,” the warrior said.
