Russia came under drone attack at night. In particular, powerful explosions were heard in the Tambov region, where a fire has now broken out near an oil refinery.

This was reported in local Telegram channels. Interestingly, the fire after the UAV attack was also confirmed by the Governor of the Tambov region, reports 24 Channel.

Tambov region Governor Maxim Egorov confirmed online that the region was under attack by drones and even that there are incoming drones. He reported that at about 00:40 they recorded the arrival of a UAV in the Michurinsky municipal district.

The “bang” resulted in a fire. Egorov claims that the “single outbreak” was allegedly quickly eliminated. Traditionally, the Russian authorities did not report any damage or casualties.

At the same time, local residents claim that the fire broke out at the Transneft-Druzhba control station, which is located in the village of Novonikolskoye in the Tambov region. The Michurinsk Oil Refinery is also located in this locality.

According to the Governor of Tambov Oblast, 11 drones were allegedly spotted over the region at night. At the same time, Egorov did not report the number of drones shot down.

Explosions were also heard in other regions of Russia. In particular, drone attacks were complained of in Lipetsk, Oryol, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh and Volgograd Oblasts.
