Today, July 23, a delegation of the US House of Representatives is welcomed in Ukraine. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky, who had already met with them.

The American delegation was led by Armed Services Committee Chairman Adam Smith. The meeting was also attended by US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
Thanks for the warm welcome to Zelenskaya
First Lady Elena Zelenskaya recently visited the United States. The President separately thanked for the fact that she was warmly received. Zelenskaya was given the opportunity to speak in Congress and deliver important messages from the Ukrainian people.

Talk about rebuilding Ukraine

The President told the US delegation about the work on the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. Its first stage is the implementation of the Fast Recovery plan – a plan for the rapid restoration of the destroyed housing, educational, medical infrastructure.

US assistance to Ukraine
- The head of the US Department of Defense Lloyd Austin at the beginning of the meeting of defense ministers in the Ramstein-4 format on July 20 announced that they would transfer 4 more HIMARS systems to Ukraine. They will be included in the next military aid packages.
- The United States also reported how much money they had left for Ukraine from those that had already been allocated earlier. The Joe Biden administration still has several billion dollars. This money remained from the 40 billion that the US Congress allowed to allocate for Ukraine and in general to counter Russian aggression.
- On July 22, US President Joe Biden signed a new $270 million military aid package for Ukraine. On the website of the White House, Biden's order was published on the allocation of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of up to $ 175 million more. We are talking about weapons, military education and training of the Ukrainian military.
