The mayor of Melitopol said that the Russians tried to hold a parade in the city before May 9, the preparation of which lasted about a month.

Last night they made a statement that that today it is dangerous to go out into the city to celebrate May 9, because someone from Ukraine is planning to carry out some kind of provocation. This is nonsense, of course, because the infidels wanted to do provocations in order to blame the Ukrainian authorities for them,” he said.
Fedorov also thanked the local residents of Melitopol for not taking to the streets and celebrating with the invaders and collaborators on May 9.
