In Dnipro, the National Police detained two suspects in the murder of a 32-year-old man who was involved in public activities.
The suspects shot the activist six times, as a result of which he died on the spot.
According to media reports, this is Mykhailo Tonkonogy, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region trade union of motorists and carriers.

On July 23, the activist's relatives reported him missing to the 102 hotline: the day before, he left home in his Škoda Octavia and was no longer in contact.
The very next day, the police managed to find out that the missing man was the victim of a crime.
His body with gunshot wounds was found in a forest belt.
As it was possible to establish during the investigation, on July 22, he had an appointment with two acquaintances – 23 and 39 years old.
During the meeting, a conflict arose between them, as a result of which the activist shot six times.
– After the crime, the suspects threw the weapons into a body of water, buried the body of the deceased in a forest belt, and drove his car to a rented garage. They were detained by the police, and their homes and garage were searched, — the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region indicated.
Both suspects were notified of suspicion under Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Intentional murder committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).
Now they face imprisonment from ten years to life.
The investigation and clarification of the motives for the crime continues.
