A bus carrying Ukrainians crashed in Poland: media report casualties

A bus carrying Ukrainian citizens crashed in Poland. The tragedy occurred at dawn near Grubeszow in the Lublin Voivodeship.

The Polish publication wrote that the tragic accident occurred at approximately 4.30 on November 19. According to unconfirmed reports, a child may have died as a result of the accident.

What is known about the tragic accident in Poland

Grubeszow police spokeswoman Edita Krystkowiak told Radio Szczecin that they established that the bus driver, a citizen of Ukraine, for unknown reasons drove into the oncoming lane on a straight section of the road and then crashed into a tree growing on the side of the road.

There were 10 people on the bus. All of them are citizens of Ukraine. Two women and a 6-year-old child died on the spot. The remaining passengers were taken to hospitals, Krystkowiak said.

On the morning of November 19, emergency services were working at the scene of the tragedy to find out the details of the accident. It is known that the police blocked road No. 844.
