There was “light music” in Rostov

In local telegram channels at about 22 o'clock Kyiv time they wrote that in the Stroygorodok microdistrict they heard “something very strong caught fire at the substation.” Because of this, according to the Russians, “lights blinked throughout the entire area, and also something sparkled in the sky.”

However, the causes of the smoke are still unknown. Local authorities have not yet commented on the situation.

It is worth noting that at the same time, unknown drones have already begun to be recorded over Russian territory. In particular, the Russian Ministry of Defense has already reported that late in the evening of June 16, Russian air defense forces “shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Krasnodar Territory.” Although, as always, the occupiers did not provide evidence to support their words.

  • On the morning of June 16, it became known that a group of prisoners in Rostov-on-Don took two pretrial detention center employees hostage. According to Russian media, the hostage taker was carried out by six people convicted of terrorism, some of whom were in ISIS.
  • The center of Rostov was cordoned off, and traffic was restricted. Russian media reported that the terrorists who took hostages in Rostov had been preparing for the hostage takeover for several months.
  • In the end, it became known that Russian security forces carried out an assault that lasted six minutes. As a result, all six attackers were eliminated. Three of the attackers died immediately, and three more died before the ambulance arrived.
