Late in the evening of January 19, it became known that a short circuit had occurred in Dagestan. As a result, half of the half-million population of Makhachkala suddenly began to shine.

Local publications spoke in more detail about the situation. They say that due to a short circuit in Dagestan the roof of a high-rise building caught fire. Also, several streets of Makhachkala were left without electricity.

Bright flash and hail of sparks

According to media reports, the flames instantly engulfed the roof. Consequently, rescuers promptly evacuated 65 residents to avoid casualties.

As local residents themselves said, they saw a bright blue flash. It was accompanied by a blackout in the central part of Makhachkala.

Subsequently, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that they managed to localize the fire. However, the consequences of the short circuit are being eliminated. In fact, in chats, local residents complain that the neighboring streets are in darkness, because after the incident they have no electricity.

In fact, CCTV cameras recorded the outbreak in Makhachkala. In the video you can see a bright flash and hear a sharp sound, after which sparks rained down on the car.

Please note that on the night of January 19 it was very restless in a number of regions of Russia. Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region Andrey Yusov shared details of mass fires in the cities of the country – aggressor.

According to Yusov, when it comes to the oil depot involved in providing the occupation corps with fuels and lubricants and more, then this complicates logistics of the Russian army. This makes it possible to disrupt supply schedules.

Also, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region noted that this provides additional opportunities and more time. And this increases the room for maneuver of the Ukrainian military.

At the same time, Andrei Yusov responded to the Russians’ statement that the fires broke out due to an attack by Ukrainian drones. We are talking about UAVs that are capable of covering 900 kilometers.

We We can neither confirm nor deny, but Ukrainian drones, of course, can cover not such distances. If we talk about the reaction in Russian society, then all questions go to Putin, Shoigu, Gerasimov, those people who continue the genocidal war against Ukraine,” Yusov noted.

He also added that it would be strange if these events took place without consequences for military facilities on the territory of the aggressor country.
