An accident occurred at the Cheboksary reservoir in Chuvashia – a boat collided with a barge at high speed. As a result, 4 people died.

The boat wanted to bypass the barge from the front
In the Morgaushsky district of Chuvashia, at the 1147th kilometer of the Volga navigation, the Voyager 67 boat with four men on board crashed into a barge with a Kolomenskoye tug carrying plaster.
The ship was damaged. All four men on it died.

According to preliminary information and eyewitness reports, the boat went across the ship's passage and tried to bypass the barge from the front, but did not have time to crash into the bow of the barge.
It is reported that 5 passengers of the barge were not injured.
