In Berlin, on Wednesday, May 29, a BMW with Ukrainian license plates crashed. He flew into a concrete wall at speed and burst into flames.

Passers-by tried to save the driver and passengers who were trapped in the fire. The consequences of the accident were also eliminated by 60 rescuers.

Police called the cause of the accident a “single race”

The car was traveling at breakneck speed, police and fire officials said. It spun 180 degrees, and then it rammed a concrete wall near the Monument Temple and caught fire. The incident occurred in the Charlottenburg district in western Berlin.

A woman died in the accident. Three more people were seriously injured, two of them in critical condition. According to Morgenpost, there were two women and two men, aged 20, 25 and 27, in the cabin.

Rescuers said that only one passenger managed to save himself. Others had to be pulled out of the mangled car.

Five eyewitnesses to the accident also received minor injuries, who tried to provide first aid to the victims even before the rescuers arrived. Two police officers were also taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

The police confirmed that the BMW had Ukrainian license plates and called the cause of the accident a “single race,” that is, the enormous speed at which the car was racing through Charlottenburg. In addition, police want to thoroughly examine the seat belts of the wreckage. Perhaps the participants in the accident were not wearing seat belts.

Two teenagers from Ukraine crashed in Gdansk

  • In Gdansk on May 29, 16- a year-old Ukrainian driving a car along with his 17-year-old passenger died in an accident. The guys flew into a tree at high speed.
  • The teenagers were running away from the police, who wanted to check the documents of the driver of the car.
  • The chase began in the city of Weigerowo, and ended about 40 kilometers away – in Gdansk. The driver was flying at a speed of 150 – 160 kilometers.
  • The guys died as a result of the accident. Investigative actions are now underway and the circumstances of the incident are being established.
