On January 27, 24-year-old Murashko Daniil Gennadievich was killed while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk region. The hero's plane shot down an enemy fighter.
After being hit, Danila's plane began to fall right on the village of Shabelkovka. The pilot, despite the low flight altitude, tried to take the plane away from residential buildings until the last second. In this regard, the fighter lost height, could not eject safely and died a hero's death.
Daniil devoted his life to defending Ukraine
The brigade says that from the first day of a full-scale war, the officer conscientiously and courageously carried out all the assigned combat missions, showing heroic devotion to military affairs, patriotism and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people.
He was a devoted comrade and a shining example for the servicemen of our unit,” the message says.
From February 24, 2022 to January 27, 2023, made 141 sorties. During this period, Daniil destroyed:
- 70 armored vehicles,
- 80 vehicles,
- 30 fuel and lubricant tankers,
- 600 occupiers.
The pilot repeatedly took out aircraft from enemy missile attacks. For outstanding achievements in the fight against the enemy, the fighter was awarded the orders of Bohdan Khmelnitsky of all three degrees.
For the protection of state interests, courage and courage, strengthening the defense capability and security of Ukraine, Major Murashko Daniil Gennadiyevich was presented by the command of the military unit for the title of “Hero Ukraine” (posthumously).
It is noted that Daniil Murashko was taken on his last flight on January 30.
