NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is convinced that a fund for long-term military assistance to Ukraine will be created before July 2024.
It is during this time that the summit of the North Atlantic bloc will take place in Washington, where the allied states will agree on the beginning of this process.
– Even if we believe and hope that the war will end in the near future, we must support Ukraine for many years, build its defenses to deter future aggression, — explained the need for the Stoltenberg Foundation.
The politician added that Western military support is vital for Kyiv to drive away the invading forces and force dictator Vladimir Putin to abandon his goals of occupying Ukrainian territories.

Ukraine Relief Fund
NATO proposes to create a fund for Ukraine, to which member countries will make contributions totaling $100 billion over 5 years.
This will mean a paradigm shift for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, which previously distanced itself from actions that could be perceived as involvement in a larger scale war with the Russian Federation, towards more active assistance to Ukraine.
