In addition, two-thirds of Russians surveyed believe that the Russian Federation as a whole is moving in the right direction; among those who believe the opposite, 45% refer to the war in Ukraine.
ISW analysts say opposition Russian research organization Russian Field reported similar figures. According to its data, 48% of respondents believe that Russia should participate in peace negotiations, and 74% would support Putin if he signed a peace agreement “tomorrow.”
It also turned out that Russians who trust telegram channels are twice as likely to believe that the war is going badly for Russia than those who trust Russian TV.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has lasted for the 631st day.
