Firefighters at the Rivne oil depot/State Emergency Service
In the evening of March 28, the invaders fired at an oil depot in the Rivne region. The fire has not yet been extinguished. 67 rescuers are working on the spot.
The State Emergency Service reported that the oil depot continues to eliminate the fire caused by an enemy missile hit.
There are 67 firefighters, 17 vehicles and 2 fire trains on site.
The State Emergency Service noted that radiation and chemical backgrounds are within normal limits. There are no casualties or injuries as a result of a missile strike or a fire.
Shelling of an oil depot in the Rivne region: what is known
- On March 28, the Russians attacked the Rivne region – shelled the oil depot again. As a result of enemy shelling, a fire broke out. Employees of the State Emergency Service, as well as a chemical laboratory, went to the scene.
- Subsequently, the head of the Rivne regional police department said that, fortunately, there were no victims or injured. According to him, the chemical and radiation background as a result of the attack is normal, there is no critical oil spill.
- Earlier, on March 27, Russian invaders attacked the oil depot in Dubno in the Rivne region with missiles. Before that, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down an enemy drone. As a result of an enemy attack, the object is completely destroyed.
