Syria and Turkey were rocked on February 6 by powerful earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6. Rescuers are still pulling people out from under the rubble.

One of them is an 8-year-old boy who escaped in the Turkish province of Hatay. Photos of the child went around the world.

The child was under rubble for 52 hours

On February 8, the network stirred up a photo of an eight-year-old boy who miraculously managed to be rescued from the rubble. He was there for 52 hours.

The child smiled when rescuers released him. The boy waved to passers-by as he was carried to safety. When he was reunited with his mother, he began to cry.

More and more children are being rescued

According to TVN24, there is more and more news about children rescued from the rubble after the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. In particular, they managed to free a Syrian boy who was found 45 hours after the collapse of the building.

A touching video of a little Syrian drinking water from a bottle cap was published by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu. Search and rescue teams rescued a child in Antioch, a city on the border between Turkey and Syria. The boy's name is Mohammed Ahmed.

Rescuers also removed a one-year-old boy who spent 53 hours under the rubble of a 5-storey building. It happened in the Turkish Kurdish city of Sanliurfa, also known as Urfa, one of the oldest cities in the world and the cradle of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

The boy was covered in dust, but everything was fine with him. After providing first aid, the child was taken to the hospital.

In addition, a five-year-old girl was rescued in the province of Kahramanmarash. She spent 58 hours under the rubble.
