The government told about the certificate for fixing the damage/Collage of Channel 24
The Cabinet of Ministers has created a Special Commission that will audit the damage caused to Ukrainians by Russia. The government also approved a single form for fixing damages.
Prime Minister Denis Shmigal spoke about this at a government meeting. Shmihal noted that the restoration of Ukraine is a strategic task for the Cabinet of Ministers.
The government simultaneously calculates losses and develops a recovery plan
Calculate all the losses caused by the occupiers, prepare a recovery plan, find resources to implement it. All these three projects are taking place in parallel and right now,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
The government has set up a special commission to audit the damage caused by the Russian invasion. We are talking not only about destroyed infrastructure, but also about residential buildings, harm to the environment and unrealized business income.
45 million square meters of housing were damaged
Only according to preliminary estimates, kafirs destroyed 45 million square meters of housing. Some cities and villages have been completely reduced to ruins.
The government approved a single form for fixing the damage caused – specifically in relation to housing. After all, before the form was arbitrary, so many questions arose. Now every citizen whose house was taken away from the infidels will be able to receive a digital document.
How the process will take place
- The government will approve the survey report and the mechanism for its preparation. Regional commissions will be created in the communities – each of 3 people. They will complete the damage report. The document will be approved by digital signatures.
- All new acts will be drawn up through the Actions system. All previous ones will be digitized.
- Local authorities will be responsible for the process.
- Subsequently, a uniform estimate of the cost of damages will be developed.
For example, if in one house had windows of different categories and values, then the cost of the property was reimbursed according to a unified standard. The average price of ordinary windows will be considered, and not the price at which each specific window was bought before,” Smihal explained.
This is how they will determine the amount of damage for each object, which will subsequently be compensated to people.
Important! The government is waiting for the adoption of a bill on compensation for objects of damaged property. Now the document is under consideration by the Parliament.
The funds will be reimbursed after the transfer of Russian assets
The Cabinet of Ministers explained that they will be able to fully reimburse the funds when the Russian assets confiscated by the West are transferred to Ukraine.
Applications about the compensation of property in Action
- Currently, Ukrainians have submitted more than 206 thousand applications to the Action application.
- All these applications are being processed by local authorities. After processing, a person can see the damages confirmation document in action.
- It is likely that the refund will also occur through the Action.
- The minimum estimate of this damage is now $40 billion.
- Currently, fixing damage is only possible in de-occupied and safe territories.
