Due to the Russian occupiers and constant enemy shelling in the Luhansk region, 43 settlements were left without electricity.
According to the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai, a power line was cut in the zone of fierce fighting, at the same time, it is now impossible to restore power supply, because shelling is constantly continuing at the site of the accident, so the relevant services are not yet able to carry out inspection and repair.
For a long time, the military managed to protect infrastructure from Russian attacks. But in recent days, the enemy has entrenched itself in positions from which it is convenient to conduct targeted shelling of many infrastructure facilities and transport links that were still operating in the Luhansk region,” Gaidai explained.
According to him, the equipment of the Popasnyansky district water utility was recently destroyed and a high-voltage power line near Lisichansk.
Lack of water supply throughout the region and 43 settlements without power
Gadai said that due to the Russian invasion, 43 settlements have been de-energized, 128,273 consumers are without electricity.
Also, there is no power supply throughout the region centralized water supply.
Water can only be brought in, which is what lifeguards do every day. Six settlements remain with gas supply, these are 45,375 subscribers. Three completely and three partially,” added the head of the region.
Due to the critical situation in the region, the authorities constantly called on residents to evacuate to safer regions.
Evacuation from the Luhansk region is impossible on May 9

Two more children were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. In Belogorovka, the Russian invaders mercilessly fired at the school. Probably about 60 dead there. Due to intense fighting, rescuers are unable to clear the rubble.
