The head of the Territorial Department of the Judicial Security Service in Lviv Oblast and his accomplice are suspected of corruption.

According to the investigation, the official offered his acquaintance employment in one of the law enforcement agencies of the Lviv region.

The suspect assured the potential client that he had connections with management, which would allow him to ensure rapid career growth.
The attacker demanded $4 thousand for his services.
When it became clear that the official would not be able to fulfill his promises, he proposed an alternative option: to employ him directly in the Judicial Security Service with guarantees of rapid promotion.
Law enforcement officers monitored her at all stages of the corruption scheme, including negotiations on the terms and methods of transferring the reward.
The suspect is currently in custody. An investigation is ongoing to establish the full extent of the corrupt activity and the possible involvement of others in the criminal scheme.
Earlier, an official of the Odessa City Council was detained while receiving a bribe in his own office.
He demanded 100 thousand UAH from a local entrepreneur for the preparation and issuance of documents for the placement of four retail outlets.
