Chelsea and Fluminense were the first to reach the semi-finals. The Londoners narrowly beat Palmeiras (2:1), and the Brazilians beat Al-Hilal with the same score.

For Bayern, this match resulted not only in elimination, but also a serious injury to Jamal Musiala.
Real started the match against Borussia confidently, scoring three times before the 90th minute. But the Germans suddenly became active in stoppage time and hit the goal twice, making the Madrid team nervous, and only Courtois' save after Sabitzer's shot saved the “creamy” from a comeback.

The 80-year-old American will announce the team lineups before the three decisive matches of the tournament. He will appear on the field for the first time today, July 8, before the Fluminense – Chelsea match, scheduled to start at 22:00 Kyiv time.
