Turkey agrees on an expert corridor for grain/getty images
Turkey is negotiating with Russia and Ukraine to open an export corridor for Ukrainian grain.
Turkey is negotiating with both Russia and Ukraine on grain exports from Ukraine. Since a corridor will be opened from Turkey, demand has arisen for this grain to reach target markets, the report says.
Negotiations are reportedly still ongoing and are confidential. Previously, Russian officials announced their readiness to provide a corridor for ships carrying food in exchange for the lifting of some Western sanctions.
The Black Sea ports of Ukraine are blocked as a result of the Russian invasion. Currently, more than 20 million tons of grain are stuck in silos.
Russia and Ukraine account for almost a third of the world's wheat supply, and the lack of exports from Ukraine could cause a global food crisis.
The media also cites data from two more sources confirming the discussion that Turkey will help export grain from Ukraine.
One of the interlocutors stressed that, despite being a member of NATO, Turkey is viewed by Russia as a more “neutral” country than other Western members of the Alliance.
Turkey is ready to contribute to a kind of monitoring of these exports from Odessa through the Black Sea, because Turkey is traditionally very strong in the Black Sea, and they are ready to help,” the European diplomat noted.

The court opened proceedings on 11 parties that the National Security and Defense Council banned/Channel 24 Collage
The Eighth Court of Appeal opened proceedings against a number of political parties. It happened at the suit of the Ministry of Justice.
The court decided to introduce the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated March 18.
It involves stopping the activities of individual political parties. We are talking about:
< p>Note that most of these parties are not just lobbying for Russian interests, but openly pro-Russian ones. Interestingly, one of the most pro-Russian parties in the Verkhovna Rada, the Opposition Platform for Life, ceased to exist in May. Its dissolution was announced in the parliament.
During a nightly address, Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that a number of parties cease their activities during the war in Ukraine.
Later, NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov promised that each member of the Opposition Platform for Life would be dealt with separately. Then he noted that the party “has not yet been finished off, but believe me, it will definitely be destroyed.” In addition, he noted that the deputies of the Opposition Platform for Life, who help the occupiers, will answer to the Ukrainian law.

Dmitry Peskov/Russian media
The Russian political leadership expects Ukraine to “accept” the current situation . The Kremlin obviously and cynically hinted that they want Kyiv to make territorial concessions.
Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, answered propagandists' questions during the briefing about what concessions Moscow expects from Ukraine.
In response, Peskov said that Russia expects Ukraine to accept its demands and “realize current situation”.
At the same time, Putin's spokesman did not dare to call a spade a spade. When asked for clarification whether it was about territorial concessions, he muttered something that “these are not territorial concessions,” and Kyiv allegedly needs to recognize the de facto situation and “just assess it sensibly.”
Zelensky addressed the Latvian Seimas/Office of the President

During his address, the Head of State thanked for all the assistance provided both from the Latvian government and from ordinary citizens. Volodymyr Zelensky's address was broadcast on the air of a nationwide telethon, Channel 24 reports.
Russians plan to resume railway communication between the occupied Luhansk region and Crimea/Getty Images
The occupiers declare their intention to restore direct railway communication between the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the annexed Crimea through the so-called “land corridor”. Read more in the exclusive blog for the Channel 24 website.
Against the background of Russia's changing tactics in the Lugansk region and the enemy's efforts being concentrated on the encirclement of Severodonetsk, a representative of the occupying authorities of Crimea visited Lugansk. The latter said that he was solving the issue of resuming the railway communication between the pseudo-republics and the annexed peninsula.
We are talking about the fact that Russia is considering the possibility of restoring a direct rail link to address both military and purely economic issues. And in this context, I would like to note: this is a kind of sign, a signal of the Russian occupation forces that they will never give up the territories of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, as well as the land corridor they seized to Crimea.
I also note that information has been received about the demining of the port of Mariupol by the Russians, which the occupiers also plan to use for both military and economic logistics. Thus, Russia significantly reduces the supply arm for itself.
The Russians were successful in the South of Ukraine due to the short supply arm from the Crimea, from where they could quickly transfer the amount of equipment they needed. Now they are aiming to do the same in the East.
This means that Russia is still considering the possibility of a full-scale offensive. Therefore, to believe that Putin plans to limit himself to accessing the administrative borders of Donbass and Luhansk region is to deceive yourself. And when now there are statements that the war will end by the beginning of autumn, this is not true.
I will add that now about 20 battalion tactical groups – these forces can be deployed to intensify hostilities both on the borders of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and to move deep into the Kharkiv region. Despite the superior forces of the enemy, the Armed Forces of Ukraine give a worthy rebuff.
The thesis that Severodonetsk is a “second Mariupol” is outright nonsense that is being spread in the Ukrainian media. The city is not blocked, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have the opportunity both for logistics and for withdrawing to previously prepared defense lines. There is no catastrophe yet, you should not frighten people.
Recall that Ukrainian defenders over the past day, May 25, repelled 10 attacks by Russian invaders in the Donetsk and Lugansk directions.

Podolyak called the Russian passport a “mark of an outcast”/Channel 24 collage exile of the civilized world and distributes red passports in the temporarily occupied territories. However, no one needs them for nothing.
In particular, adviser to the head of the President's Office Mikhail Podolyak spoke about this. He called the Russian passport “the mark of an outcast.”
According to him, any attempts to distribute Russian passports in Ukrainian territories are pointless and futile. After all, the Ukrainian passport today is considered in the world a symbol of courage and heroism, which cannot be said about the documents of the aggressor state.
Our people travel freely around the world without visas and borders. Why do they need a ticket to the Russian concentration camp? Podolyak asked rhetorically.

Two enemy drones were shot down in Kharkiv region/Photo from Facebook of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine -sc87=””>Despite the furious offensive of the Russian army, our defenders continue to fight. They inflict heavy losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment.
Warriors from the Kharkov region reported on the next success in destroying the enemy. The Kharkiv defense headquarters said that our military shot down two enemy drones.
According to the information, in the Kharkiv region near the state border with Russia, the Ukrainian military shot down two Russian drones of the Orlan type.
This happened today, May 26, around 11:30. At this time, local residents massively reported the sounds of explosions. This was the work of our air defense system.
Also, around the same time, in Russian Belgorod, which borders Ukraine, once again the Russians said they heard “pops”. But they still live with their own horrors. After all, the authorities do not explain anything to them. They are digging trenches in a panic.
