During his March 26 address in Warsaw, US President Joseph Biden noted that Russians were victims of Putin's anti-democratic regime. This resulted in a massive outflow of personnel.
He noted that Russia showed a record rate of emigration in a very short period. Biden stressed that the Russians are leaving the country so that Putin's aggression does not cut them off from the rest of the civilized world, Channel 24 reports.
The US President also remembered that Putin puts his citizens behind bars even because of an ordinary exit to a peaceful protest, and all independent media in the country are closed.
200 thousand people have already left Russia
Biden noted that 200 thousand Russians have already left the country in one month. He noted that this is a very large outflow of brains and talents in such a short period.
Biden addressed the Russians, noting that he had sat at the negotiating table with Russian leaders more than once. Now he hopes that they are able to hear his words:
You are not our enemy, Biden stressed.
At the same time, he noted that the killing of innocents or the bombing of hospitals, schools, maternity hospitals, the blockade of cities – these are not the actions of a great state.
