On the battlefield, the invaders fail to advance. Moreover, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forcing the enemy to withdraw and set up new lines on a more distant front line.
The OK “South” reported on the operational situation in southern Ukraine as of September 23. In particular, our military spotted Iranian drones for the first time.
The situation in the South Buzh direction
As reported in OK “South”, the situation in the South Buzh direction today is stably complicated, but is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yes, the enemy is not only not moving forward there, but is trying to stay on the defensive lines. However, under pressure from the defenders of Ukraine, he is forced to retreat and equip new lines on the distant front line.
Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine identify new:
- control points;
- places concentration of enemy weapons and equipment;
- places of pulling up the reserve, in particular, by rail in the direction of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The defenders establish fire control over these objects.
However, with the active actions of the defenders of Ukraine, the infidels' desire to demonstrate their strength does not decrease. And since they cannot do it on the battlefield, they resort to their usual terrorist methods. In particular, they are trying to exert fiery and psychological pressure on the civilian population. So, during September 23, the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions and settlements along the front line.
Yes, it is known that the invaders:
- from a Su-20 aircraft fired an X-31 missile at the Kutsurub community;
- containers with a poisonous substance were dropped from a drone on Ukrainian combat positions, probably a K-51 chloropicrin grenade;
- twice attacked Odessa with Shahid-136 kamikaze drones from the Black Sea and the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the collision line in the Bereznegovatsky community of Mykolaiv region.
OK Yug noted that there were no casualties as a result of the air and missile attack. But kamikaze drones in Odessa destroyed the administrative building in the port area, damaged houses and killed one civilian.
Pay attention! Among these drones, the Iranian-made multi-purpose strike UAV “Mohajer-6” was first noticed .
There are also invaders in the Black Sea. So, the command said that 15 enemy ships and boats were maneuvering there, including 3 surface and 1 underwater carrier “Caliber”.
Consequently, both threats and the need for vigilance remain relevant, because the enemy continues to pressure and intimidate.
On the informational and socio-political front (the enemy is additional tension as a leitmotif to justify pseudo-referendums. Be conscious and attentive, do not neglect your own safety, do not ignore reports of air raid warnings, perceive information critically and do not succumb to panic and provocations, – stressed in OK “South”.

Russian attacks did not go unanswered
Aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for On September 23rd, 20 strikes were made against enemy positions. So, in the Nikolaevsky region, an enemy Mi-8 helicopter was destroyed, in the Beryslav region of the Kherson region – a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft.
Rocket and artillery units inflicted about 290 attacks on the invaders, including: >
- pontoon crossing in Nova Kakhovka,
- 2 clusters of weapons and equipment in the Berislav region,
- 3 cells of forces and means in the Kakhov and Kherson regions,
- electronic warfare station in the Krutoy Yar area,
- Tor anti-aircraft missile system in the Bashtansky district of the Mykolaiv region,
- armament and equipment column in Kakhovka,

In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 51 invaders, the MSTA-B howitzer, a tank and 16 vehicles and armored vehicles.
