On February 5, significant problems with electricity remain in Odessa. Currently, 280-290 thousand subscribers have limited power supply.

This was announced by the head of Ukrenergo Vladimir Kudritsky at a briefing.Channel 24.According to him, residents of Odessa region now there is only 2 hours of light.

What is the situation with the light in Odessa

As Kudritsky said, in Odessa and the region, 280-290 thousand subscribers have limited power supply. On February 4, people had 2 hours of light and 12 hours – it was not.

However, the head of Ukrenergo promised that the energy infrastructure facility, which will allow returning to normal power outage schedules, will be repaired before the end of the week.

Thus, Odessa will return to normal power outage schedules approximately February 10.< /strong>

According to Kudritsky, generators are brought to the city to connect critical infrastructure. As critical infrastructure is transferred to autonomous power sources, the outage schedules, which were +2/-12 immediately after the accident, will gradually soften to +2/-8.

The head of Ukrenergo added that the company is now intensively restoring all energy facilities in the region that have suffered from Russian attacks. Power engineers focused on one of them, which will allow to resume power supply to Odessa and the Odessa region as soon as possible.

What is the main problem with the light

The head of the Odessa Regional Office Maxim Marchenko said that almost 300 thousand subscribers are currently without electricity in Odessa and the Odessa region. Most centralized supply boiler houses have already been launched, work is underway to connect local boiler houses to generators.

The main problem is not a shortage of generation, but the impossibility of transmitting and distributing electricity to consumers in sufficient quantities,” the head of the region said.

Marchenko added that to date, Odessa has received 39 large generators power from the State Emergency Service.
