Sanctions against the Russian aviation industry

After February 24, 2022, large-scale sanctions were introduced against the aviation industry of the aggressor state, closing the airspace over many countries of the world to Russian aircraft.

Among them are the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Norway, and Japan. And the sanctions included such companies as Aeroflot, S7, Volga-Dnepr, Gazprom-AVIA, Ural Airlines, Rossiya, Utair, Pobeda, Red Wings, IFly, Nord Wind, ” Yakutia”, “Yamal”, “Alrosa”.

In addition, the West has limited the Kremlin’s ability to maintain high-tech developments, in particular aircraft. This has led to a considerable number of “aviation incidents” that Moscow is trying to hide.
