Russian occupiers keep trying to advance in the Donetsk region. At the same time, the invaders are shelling Ukrainian cities and villages.
The OVA reported on the current situation in the Donetsk region, channel 24 reports.
According to the Donetsk OVA, Russian mercenaries carried out 16 attacks on 11 settlements during the day. The enemy used:
- small arms,
- tanks,
- artillery,
- mortars,
- air shelling,
- “Grad”.
Increase in the intensity of shelling near the cities of Soledar, Svyatogorsk, Bakhmut, Avdeevka, Nikolaevka, Toretsk.
Fighting continues in the area of Liman and Raygorodok. During the day in the region – 7 dead and 10 injured civilians, – the message says.
What is the situation in other regions
- Zaporozhye region: approximately at two o'clock in the morning there were 3 “arrivals” of missiles in the village near Zaporozhye. Details and consequences are being clarified.
- Kharkiv region:In Kharkov, single shelling was heard at night, there were no victims. During the day, 8 people were wounded as a result of shelling in the region, including 5 in Kharkiv, 1 person in the Lozovsky district, 1 in Shevchenkovsky and 1 in Chuhuivsky.
- Luhansk region: the situation in the region remains tense. One person died, two were injured. Severodonetsk was stormed from four sides at once, but they were rebuffed and retreated to their previous positions. Artillery and mortar shelling of residential areas around the clock.
- Mykolaiv region:at night there were shelling in the Shirokovskaya community. 3 houses burned down as a result of direct hits, there were no casualties. During the day and at night shelling is still going on in the Bereznegovat community. There is no information about the victims and damage yet.
- Kherson region: the situation is stable throughout the entire region, over the past day – explosions and shelling in all areas. The information from the residents of the territorial communities about the mining of bridges and roads by which the residents of the region are trying to travel to the territory controlled by Ukraine is confirmed. There is no water, electricity and gas in the settlements of the Vysokopolskaya, Stanislavskaya, Kalinovskaya, Novovorontsovskaya, Veliko Aleksandrovskaya territorial communities, which border on neighboring regions and are located on the front line.
Russian invaders are concentrating their main forces in the Eastern direction, in particular, in the Luhansk region. They are trying to capture Severodonetsk, destroying the city to the ground. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold the line. The Armed Forces of Ukraine took revenge for the destroyed bridge and numerous shelling of Severodonetsk – they destroyed the equipment with the invaders responsible for it.
