CEO of Yasno Sergey Kovalenko predicts that, according to the base scenario, blackouts in winter will last 12 hours a day.

Kovalenko said that according to the basic forecast, there will be a deficit of approximately 30-35% in the Ukrainian energy system.

โ If they power the critical infrastructure and only then distribute the remainder, then for consumers the deficit will be 50%. That is, the base forecast — 12 hours without light, — said Kovalenko.
He also noted that the final forecast could be made in August.
In addition, CEO Yasno added that the forecast could either improve or worsen, depending on how many destroyed power plants can be restored and how cold the winter will be.
It was reported the day before that the Cabinet of Ministers is developing the possibility of canceling blackouts in the front-line regions of Ukraine.
Although the Ministry of Energy is in no hurry to predict and name the timing of power outages in the winter. The department says this is too premature.
