An 11-year-old girl, Solomiya Veklich, who disappeared a week ago, was found in the Lviv region. Rescuers found her alive but unconscious in the forest.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, today, July 27, in the morning, a child born in 2013 was found in a forest area of the village of Rechki in the Lviv district. She was about 6 km from her home.
Solomiya Veklich, who disappeared on July 20, was alive. However, the girl was unconscious, so she was handed over to doctors for further examination.

As noted by the Lviv Region Police, Solomiya's mother reported her disappearance to the police on July 20. According to her, her daughter left the house at 4:00 p.m. After the report, the search for the child did not stop for a minute.
— Faith and joint efforts were not in vain. Solomiya was found, she is under the supervision of doctors. We are grateful to everyone who joined the search, helped comb the area, provided information and did not lose hope, — noted the head of the Lviv region police Oleksandr Shlyakhovsky.
At about 11:00 in the morning, Solomiya Veklich was found exhausted, but now her life is not in danger. The search for the girl continued for almost seven days.
More than 600 people were involved, including — police officers, rescuers, border guards, dog handlers, volunteers and residents of the Lviv region. They searched for the girl together for seven days.
The operation participants combed forests, examined bodies of water, interviewed eyewitnesses and established Solomiya's probable route of movement by studying CCTV footage. Helicopters and quadcopters were used. In the end, the search was successful.
