At a meeting on November 15, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure for implementing the Winter Support program, which is aimed at helping Ukrainian families. In particular, this concerns payments of 1 thousand UAH, which were announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

At the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine has introduced new financial assistance for each citizen. Financial support in the amount of one thousand hryvnia can be received from December 1 and spent on paying for domestic services and goods.
– We determine how, where and when you can receive funds and where you can spend them. Since the program concerns not only adults but also children, we are also determining how one of the parents can order a payment for their child, said Denys Shmygal.
According to him, when deciding on winter support for Ukrainians, the government had three main tasks:

- provide financial support to Ukrainian families. The money can be spent on books, clothes, medicine, utility bills, bus/train tickets, etc.;
- support domestic producers and those who provide services;
- demonstrate the unity of the people, because part of these funds can be transferred to support the military.
Note that scammers have begun to create fake accounts of the Ministry of Social Policy, where they promise to pay one thousand hryvnia from the state.
The attackers ask to provide personal data of bank cards in order to gain access to other people's money.
