More than 1,500 Luhansk citizens are heading to the Center and West of Ukraine. In addition, they managed to take patients out of Kremennaya, from where the Russian troops had been pushed back the day before.
This was announced on April 8 by the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration/OVA Serhiy Gaidai. He added that the local government will try to evacuate the civilian population to the last.

According to Gaidai, every day it becomes more and more difficult to evacuate Lugansk residents due to increased shelling. station in Kramarsk, – says the head of the OVA.
He adds that the occupiers do not spare anyone – neither children, nor women, nor the elderly. However, today another 1,500 residents of the region were saved from the “Russian world”.
According to Gaidai:
- 217 people were evacuated from Severodonetsk today,
- from Lisichansk – 465 people
- 640 people from the Mountain Community,
- 155 people from Kremennaya (including the last 24 hospice patients),
- 30 people from Rubizhne.

Note that the Russian invaders tried to break through the defense line in the Luhansk direction. According to Gaidai, on April 7, from 4 am until the evening, the battle for Rubizhne continued.
