On June 5, Ukrainian defencists carried out a successful attack on the Novoshakhtinsky oil refinery in the Rostov region. The General Staff reported on the consequences of the strike.

So, as a result of the strike on the oil plant, the Russians lost a bunch of oil and petroleum products, with a total value of several hundred thousand dollars. The Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that they will continue to beat the enemy in the future.

Attack on the Novoshakhtinsky Oil Refinery

The General Staff noted that the Defense Forces continue the methodical work of destroying the Russian oil refining industry. In particular, on June 5, Ukrainian drones managed to hit the Novoshakhtinsky oil products plant in the Rostov region.

According to intelligence data, as a result of fire damage the invaders lost 1.5 million tons of oil and petroleum products, which is about $540 million, writes Ukrainian defense specialists.

They added that the attacks on Russian oil refineries significantly make it difficult for the occupiers to carry out their tasks during the armed aggression against Ukraine.

“Let's fight the enemy further! Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine,” wrote the General Staff.
