Zenit fans complained about pressure from security forces

The Zenit Fan Association Landskrona complained about the tough pressure from the security forces. This is reported on the website of the organization.

In a statement, fans of the blue-white-blues said fans were forced to cancel the 40th anniversary celebrations of the fan movement. “In recent weeks, we have learned that we are participants in the 'color' revolutions, that the fire is a symbol of Nazism, and the passage is a fascist torchlight procession,” the fans noted.

Representatives of “Landskrona” also said that law enforcement agencies have put forward too many strict requirements for the participants in the festive event. “In this situation, we are obliged to protect the fans from possible provocations and not expose people who come to their own birthday in jeopardy,” the statement said.

In early July, police officers from St. Petersburg detained 11 fans celebrating Zenit's victory in the Russian championship. The fans burned flares, after which they were taken to the department.
