The father of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Alexander Zelensky, started an Instagram account and shared his thoughts on the state policy pursued by his son.
According to Alexander, now Vladimir Zelensky is more important than ever public support. “It is also difficult for us, as parents, to watch how Vova is showered with tomatoes from various TV channels by various so-called“ political scientists, ”unknown to anyone,” wrote the father of the Ukrainian leader. He noted that Vladimir had never been and will not be a murderer or a thief, as his opponents, who were unable to understand what was happening, unreasonably dubbed him.
Alexander added that he and his wife Rimma are very proud of their son and his success in his political career. He also thanked the Ukrainians who are not being led to various “provocations” and who support the country's development course set by Zelensky.
Zelensky is regularly criticized by the Ukrainian public. For example, the former president of the country, Petro Poroshenko, openly condemns the actions of the current Ukrainian leader. In particular, he accused the head of state of excessive claims to the heads of Western states.
The politician also said that Zelensky is trying to get rid of political opponents and control all power structures. He stressed that the repressions carried out by the head of the republic make it possible to compare him with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
