Because of blackmail energy terrorists from “Gazprom” Difficult times await Ukraine and the EU.

Due to Russian gas blackmail, gas prices in Europe on August 24-25 already exceeded $3,300 per thousand cubic meters.

About This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during his evening address.

“This Russian anti-European policy is really destructive, but in a strategic perspective – for Russia itself. There will be no more such a player in the European energy market as Russia,” he said.

According to Zelensky, the current situation is very dangerous, very sharp. But most European countries have approached the energy issue very responsibly and are doing everything to adapt in order to protect themselves.

“If someone out there in Russia thinks that this winter he will bring Europe as a whole or Ukraine or other individual countries to its knees, then this is a failed calculation. I believe that Europe is strong enough to correct the mistakes of the past, to become independent of the Russian energy system , Russian energy carriers and in order not to yield to the blackmail of energy terrorists from Gazprom,” the president added.

He noted that Ukraine is closely coordinating actions with partners in these matters, in energy matters. The government of Ukraine, our state companies are doing everything to make Ukraine ready to go through this winter season.

“It will indeed be the most difficult in our history. And we are now in such circumstances when it is already clear that the enemy will not achieve his goals, but time is still needed, efforts are still needed for the Russian calculation to break down, so that they lose in this as well. withstand this time and make all the necessary efforts together with partners. And so it will be,” he added.

Recall that after Moscow cut energy supplies to the EU, Norway took the lead in natural gas supplies to Europe.
