According to the president, people just want peace, peace, stability and confidence.

Even at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, President Vladimir Zelensky made sure that Ukraine has a limited circle of real international partners. Now, during the war with Russia, the head of the Ukrainian state suggests the possibility of creating new security alliances.

He spoke about this in an exclusive interview with public broadcasters.

According to him, due to difficulties that arose with the supply of a vaccine against coronavirus infection to Ukraine, he became convinced that Ukraine has few real international partners.

“And then I thought that if there was a war, then we could remain in the circle of a few states. In In principle, this happened,” the president noted.

At the same time, Zelensky noted the changes that are taking place in the world, where “real democracy” begins to dominate, when “public opinion becomes stronger than any leader.”

“It seems to me that such democracy in the world, which is currently taking place, will lead to one or another security alliance. I am sure that in the future there will be other security alliances. This does not mean that we need to leave one or another alliance, this does not mean that it is necessary sew things that work, no. It’s just that people want peace, peace, stability and confidence,” the president explained.

Zelensky also suggested that the leaders of those countries that would not heed public opinion and would not be leaders of society would not be able to lead their countries .

Recall that on Sunday, March 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Israeli Parliament. In his speech, he called for help to Ukraine and compared Russia's actions with Nazi Germany.
