After this meeting, Ukraine will work on organizing a summit at the level of leaders.
A meeting will take place in Switzerland within the framework of the Economic Forum – Ukraine will work to ensure that representatives from all continents, in particular from the Global South, are present there.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated this during a press conference on December 19.
“We have a formula for peace – the only platform that has work. The last meeting in Malta was very good. After this, the meeting will be held in Switzerland as part of the Economic Forum. There will be such a security segment. We will work to ensure that representatives of all continents, in particular the Global South, are present, and that there are also eight dozen countries,” emphasized Vladimir Zelensky.
He also added that after this meeting, Ukraine will work on organizing a summit at the leader level, because at this meeting the last five points of the Peace Formula will be worked out.
“The first five points were worked out between the advisers at the meeting in Malta… There will be an agreement between the countries on fundamental things, with which we will begin to work and prepare the corresponding document. When the corresponding document is ready, we will be able to or transmit it in another format to representatives of the Russian Federation,” emphasized Vladimir Zelensky.
According to him, when all the states of the world can unite around a document, then this document can be transferred through the UN or through other leaders to the Russian side.
“If she is ready to accept this document, this will indicate that the issue of negotiations is relevant. It is not relevant now. I don’t see demand from the Russian Federation, I don’t see it in actions, I see only impudence and murder in rhetoric,” the president noted.
Recall that Zelensky said that he never discussed with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban the war in Ukraine and the possibility of negotiations with dictator Vladimir Putin.
