The Ukrainian president announced this in a traditional video message on Sunday, May 22.
“Signed a decree on the introduction of a new insignia of Ukraine to thank those cities of partner states that helped the most. And the first Rzeszow, a rescue city, has become such a city. Quite rightly,” Zelensky said.
Recall, Prezi Andrzej Duda, a Polish dentist, was on a working visit to Ukraine on May 22 and personally addressed the Verkhovna Rada. In particular, speaking from the rostrum of the parliament, Duda said that Russia must pay indemnities to Ukraine because of the war. The President of Poland also promised to do everything possible for Ukraine to become a member of the European Union.
