President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday, February 26, published a new video message to the people, speaking from Bankova Street in Kyiv, which is located next to the office of the head of state, and confirmed that he was still in the Ukrainian capital. It is reported by TASS.
“A lot of fake information has appeared on the network that I allegedly call on our army to lay down their arms and evacuation is underway. It means this: I am here, we will not lay down any weapons and we will defend our state,” Zelensky explained.
Earlier, Zelensky published another video message. He said that together with his associates, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, head of the presidential office Andriy Yermak and adviser to the head of the presidential office Mykhailo Podolyak, he is in Kyiv.
