President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in a new video message assessed the first stage of negotiations with the Russian delegation. According to him, there is no such result that the Ukrainian side would like to receive.
The head of state stressed that during the talks, the invaders bombed and fired at our territories .
– I think that in such a simple way Russia is trying to put pressure. Don't waste time. We do not accept such tactics. Fair negotiations can happen when one side does not hit the other side with rocket artillery at the very moment of negotiations.
The President said that the parties expressed their positions. The Ukrainian delegation will analyze what they have heard when they return to Kyiv. After that, it will be possible to determine how to proceed to the second stage of negotiations.
– So far we do not have the result that we would like to get. Russia has declared its positions. Counterpoints were sounded from us to end the war.
