President Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on the ultimatum of Putin's Russian Federation, said that Ukraine cannot fulfill it.

– Ukraine cannot comply with the Russian ultimatum. It is necessary to destroy us all, then their ultimatum will be fulfilled. For example, to give Kharkov, Mariupol or Kyiv. Neither Kharkiv, nor Mariupol, nor Kiev, nor I, the President, we can do this,” Zelensky stressed in an interview with Suspіlna, excerpts from which were published on Monday, March 21.

Recall , the Ukrainian authorities rejected the ultimatum of the Russian invaders demanding the surrender of the defenders of Ukraine in our hero city of Mariupol.

Note that the day before, the Kremlin presented an ultimatum to the Ukrainian military who are in Mariupol: in the Russian Federation they want the troops of Ukraine laid down their arms and left the city on 21 March. In this case, the Ukrainian military would allegedly be allowed to leave the city “according to the route agreed with Ukraine”.

They emphasized that the defenders should not have weapons and ammunition with them. And only after that, as the military leadership of the Russian Federation claimed, would the “evacuation of civilians”.
