The deputies of the Legislative Assembly finally, in the third reading, approved the idea of blocking all pages on the Internet containing information on the methods, methods of development, manufacture and use of potent and poisonous substances, including the places of their purchase. The authors of the draft resolution were deputies Denis Chetyrbok and Anastasia Melnikova.
As the chairman of the ZakSa Vyacheslav Makarov noted, the rapid development of global information networks leads to the fact that literally before our eyes the virtual world is becoming a significant part of the real space, the parliamentary correspondent of “DP” reports.
“Potent substances can be purchased in online stores and on Internet forums, while there is no legal basis for blocking sites containing such information,” the explanatory note says.
Now the initiative of the St. Petersburg deputies will be sent to the State Duma.
