Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova congratulated the Russians on the New Year, wishing them peace and prosperity, but did not forget to congratulate politicians, in particular, the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Volodymyr Zelensky and Joe Biden, as well as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Zakharova noted that in the new year she would like Russians to be able to enjoy every day, as well as see and recognize all the good things that happen around them, reacting not only to bad events. “It happens that much more good happens, we just take it for granted,” she explained, urging people to pay more attention to good things.
Answering the question about what she would wish for Zelensky, Biden and Stoltenberg, Zakharova joked and offered to end the interview on a good note. “All the best to all of us. You and I have interesting good news occasions, ”added the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
